I love this. Very few people can draw anthropomorphic birds that look good and even fewer can capture the beautiful essence of vultures.

This is awesome, and makes a welcome change to the usual "anthromorphic art" submitted. The contrast in the background makes me think maybe the contrast on her should be a bit stronger/she should have a few more darker shadows, but otherwise it looks great. I love the feathers on the wing.

Damn, thought I could get away without that last levels layer. That usually equalizes the contrast in the background and foreground, but I got lazy and didn't do one.

Glad you're enjoying it. I love satirizing things like anthro art, hence my creepy anthropomorphic carrion birds. :)

Eerie and damp are the first words that come into my mind. Dismal and unwelcoming.
Maybe it's the background, maybe it's the bald, disgruntled carrion-eating bird with semi-human features sipping a Martini while wearing a rather unflattering dress which appears to be stained. This whole picture is just plain ugly.

I guess this is a different take on anthropomorphic animals?

If you think it's anything other than hideous and creepy... well you shouldn't.

It's a dark parody on furries, and a followup to: [link]

I still think the stork is a tad creepier than the condor. Her dress is even less flattering. But yeah, the whole idea is to creep people out.
